Many of the sculpture parks listed in this directory I have visited or they have my sculptures in them, or both. Listings with an * asterisk are among my favorites. I have tried to limit the directory to those that are open to the public during regular hours or by appointment. Please call ahead to make sure posted hours are correct and if there are any charges for admission. I am sure I have missed quite a few sculpture gardens and parks - this is a work in progress. Artnut.com's International Directory of Sculpture Parks and Gardens (below), and Birkbeck University of London are sharing outdoor sculpture-related information. Our efforts are complementary. The new International Directory of Sculpture Parks & Gardens, is part of the research of Dr. Cameron Cartiere at Birkbeck College, University of London. Her project is to provide a contextual and visual resource to anyone who might enjoy sculpture in an outdoor environment including artists, collectors, curators, architects, urban designers, landscape architects city planners, educators and garden enthusiasts. The site includes information on over 500 sites, based on sculpture park research done by Benbow Bullock, San Francisco based Sculptor, who has visited and/or has work in many of them. Cameron is creating a growing gallery of images from sculpture parks worldwide, as well as resource links and a bibliography. A few of my favorites were featured in Southwest Airlines inflight magazine! Text Version : spirit.html
